The Toyo Ito Architecture Museum, recently opened on the island of Omishima overlooking the western reaches of Japan’s Seto Inland Sea.

The Silver Hut is a reconstruction of Ito’s own house built in 1984, the Steel Hut forms the tall dark stranger to the Silver Hut’s more familiar casual elegance

Brazil produced the GURGEL cars in the 70s and 80s and gave massive loans to Mr Joao do Amaral Gurgel to be able to block foreign car import. He went broke in the 90s leaving us with cosmic vehicles.

The bubble house is in Tourette-sur-Loup, near Nice (France). The construction started in 1970. The design is by Antti Lovag, a Hungarian architect inspired by shapes and forms found in nature. Along the same coast Pierre Cardin too bought a bubble house. All are considered historic monuments. Some are now for rent as a holiday house.
