THE NAME
The vicuna is an animal living in the alpine areas of the Andes in South America and is a relative of the llama and alpaca. They have an extraordinary hearing. Vicunas produce extremely fine, exclusive wool as the animal can only be shorn every 3 years. When this is done, it is a special occasion on which special parties are organized.
Their insulating hairs are softer and warmer than any other animal, producing the most expensive and best quality wool. Their wool is left natural as it is sensitive to chemical treatment. At the time of the Incas only royalty could wear its fleece.
THE CONCEPT
The party is called VICUNA as it offers innovating and quality music, mainly vinyl for special occasions,
bringing out a rare energy, as rare as the animal itself.
Release the beast.
Deep, Dark, Dirty.
THE PLACE
The first party was held at the incredible Metro Anneessens in Brussels, afterwards different locations are chosen to fit the mood and the line up.
